Despite the fact that PureLives is cheap, or at least affordable, many refugees in Western Sahara still might not be able to afford to buy this simple invention. But they cannot be left to suffer, maybe even to die. Something must be done. The most realistic and efficient solution is probably sponsorship.
A company could sponsor the distribution of PureLives to each family living in the refugee camps of Western Sahara, or at least for those families who cannot afford it. This initiative could be part of the existing UNICEF tap project, which works towards providing clean water to children all around the world. Staff members from UNICEF could give each family a PureLives, and also teach them how to use it.

It would be very expensive for UNICEF to provide so many PureLives all around the refugee camps in Western Sahara. What could we do to help? There must be someway every person standing here today could contribute to the cause, and help UNICEF in making the lives of thousands of refugees a lot better. But how? Watch the following video on how each of us can contribute to the cause, in just 15 minutes (or click the Vimeo link above for the same video) :
But there are lots of other ways you can help and contribute to the cause.
We can create campaigns and make other efforts to raise awareness about what UNICEF is trying to do to help those thousands of refugees. When others see what we are doing, they will realize that even they would want to do something to help. This is probably the best way of helping UNICEF - making others realize the challenge exists, and that they could help spread the solution.
The simplest solution to helping UNICEF provide PureLives to refugees in Western Sahara is by donating. Give a little bit of money, give a lot of clean water to thousands of refugees - save a life.
